SAS operates a Quality Management System in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2008 and has held third party approval based on continuous assessment by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.

The scope of registration being: Engineering and Manufacturing of Offshore Equipment. SAS Winches is committed to operating an effective quality system to ensure that its products and services conform fully to the specific requirements of the client and all current safety and statutory requirements.

In order to achieve this activities place particular emphasis on experience, expertise, capability, performance, safety, reliability and quality.

The Quality Manual and Quality Procedures have established a company framework that allows the evaluation of the effectiveness of management efforts required to meet the needs of its clients.

Furthermore most equipment is designed and manufactured in accordance with the major worldwide codes and rules such as from: LRS, DNV, ABS, BV, CCS, etc. To assure performance, reliability and optimize weight, Finite Element Analysis will be performed on all equipments.
