SAS has been founded in 1896 by Mr. Sas as a machine manufacturing company and since the supply of the first equipment to the offshore market in 1968, SAS has become firmly established as a designer and fabricator of tailor made machinery for the offshore oil and gas market. In 2008 SAS Winches has been started with key personnel (lead engineers, project planning and sales) from the winch industry. This enables SAS to focus on the design, manufacturer and service a full range of winch systems.
