Design

All of SAS Winches employees hold engineering degrees or equivalent. Their formal qualifications are backed by experience. SAS design engineers focus on reliable mechanical solutions with advanced control systems on PLC and PC levels. They use high-tech computer programs to calculate tensile, loading and other relevant forces, in order to provide customers with sound and safe equipment. SAS specialists are able to provide independent advice for matters related to SAS' product range.

Manufacturing

At SAS head office premises in Gouda, The Netherlands, SAS have next to the staff and engineering offices its own production facilities. This facility is well equipped for welding, machining and assembling all the equipment designed by SAS. Most important of all is SAS’ capability of testing its own equipment and systems before it is shipped to its destination.

SAS other manufacturing and assembly facilities are located in Alphen a/d Rijn, Dordrecht all within The Netherlands as well as in Gwangyang, South Korea.
